I have a beautiful wife and great kids… and not that I feel the need to justify your assertion, but Christopher W can verify that I do indeed have a wife… The reason you won’t receive an email from me is I won’t expose my family to you now that you’ve made your imbalance evident.

I have not backed down to you at all… you couldn’t do it with money, you couldn’t get me banned just because you disagree with me, you wouldn’t put your money where your mouth is and buy the site to get me banned (so it BEGS the question), and now you think you somehow threaten me with force… with a wife who is supposedly an attorney, you’re not too bright are you? Like I said, it must make you feel impotent not to have the control you are looking for…

That said… First off, I WORK for a living not sit behind a computer… I would have NO PROBLEM going one-on-one with you, no matter the outcome, and I wouldn’t need “friends” as you put it. I wouldn’t do it for the sake of doing it or for some sense of bravado, i would do it to show you your bullying tactics don’t work. Unfortunately, as we see here, you are not trustworthy, and there would be no way to know if it was really you, or someone you “bought” to stand in as you. On top of that, based on your posts and personality, I would EXPECT you to cheat and hire “friends”. It’s just your personality. Rules don’t apply to you, right?

One of the features of this illness is that the person can not recognize it themselves. They instead blame everyone else. I hope that maybe you could pull back enough to say to yourself, “Could it be?” “Should I go out and get a medical opinion on myself?”

I mean this all well. Sometimes being really smart, which you are, comes with a price. One of the hardest things a person can do in life is to take their pride in hand and go ask for help. Only a strong person can do that.

You have many people here telling you that something is wrong. That your responses are extreme, verbose, inappropriate, running on-an-on. I am telling you that, too.

Go see someone and get some help. Just do it. I will admire you tremendously if you can accept my opinion.

Just for fun, I looked up the symptoms for the condition you listed because I am familiar with the term Bi-polar but not the added mania…

Sorry, doesn’t apply to me… You are reading too much into internet postings, Furnishedowner… After my wife stopped laughing, she thinks it funny you would even try to diagnose any condition based on internet postings… kinda’ like saying a house is a great purchase based on a picture… she said to leave it to the professionals… Funny thing is, we have a neighbor who actually IS bipolar… she needs meds to control her moods, etc… She can drive her husband crazy if she doesn’t take them…

In reality, about the only thing you can really accuse me of is being verbose, which I have personally admitted on multiple occasions I am guilty of and I am certainly not the only one on this site…

Now that I have indulged you based on your sincerity… something for you to consider… The ones who posted (I expected two more) all share a common trait… you don’t like being shown to be wrong, and you especially don’t like having what you post challenged with facts versus your own words… I have NO PROBLEM being shown to be factually wrong… but I am careful to SUPPORT what I write, so that doesn’t happen that often if at all… I don’t lie or misrepresent what people write, because I directly quote them… Am I perfect? No, but I know who I am…

The ironic part about of all this, is that the initial complaint (i.e. - this is an investment site only) is COMPLETELY INVALID, as the site’s OWN DESCRIPTION of RANDOM RAMBLINGS is - “Items NOT SPECIFIC to real estate investing”… but don’t let FACTS get in your way… :rolleyes

Fact of the matter is, you trying to make this sound like I’m whining, etc. is just a way to deflect the fact that you are NOT applying the forum rules equally… Not one of the moderators could show a forum rule I violated, both here on the thread and in PM… Bluemoon06’s subject line to me was “Aggressive posts”… are you kidding me?

Look, it’s simple… you can’t show where I’ve lied or mislead anyone or call anyone names or swear; I FOLLOW the forum rules, which is why you can’t cite one that I am violating, and yet the one’s who actually DO violate forum rules?.. NOTHING…

Can you show me another time, where a PM (i.e. - “PRIVATE” message) from one poster to another poster was used by the moderators to publicly rebuke (and in the process BREAKING the rules in the message) someone who HASN’T violated the rules?

Is this what REICLUB has become? A club of the protected few, where certain posters BREAK the rules ROUTINELY (i.e. - Fdjake, RookieNYC, etc., and including a few moderators BTW), but those who don’t violate the rules get a made-up warning about “aggressive posts” which are NOT a violation of any rules??? One could say that sounds like CONGRESS…

People KNOW that the ones who have posted and “complained” to YOU about ME (i.e. - the ones who ran to the “teacher”, as you put it) are also the ones who I normally clash with on ideas… They just can’t adequately defend their own words against FACTS…

People INSTINCTIVELY KNOW that you are NOT moderating equally and with every view that racks up, you affect your credibility… They are either rules or not, but please stop PRETENDING like you at all are demonstrating any equal application of them…

And the absolute kicker - “whining” - what do you think the posters who are breaking the rules and then “running to teacher” are doing??? They are whining about someone posting on RANDOM RAMBLINGS because they can’t SUPPORT their position… The forum they DO NOT EVEN HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN and is COMPLETELY VOLUNTARY, whether it’s reading OR posting, if they don’t want to… Instead its - “why is he even ALLOWED to post here when I disagree with him… let’s BAN him”… :rolleyes It is one thing to “whine” about the FAIR and EQUAL application of the rules to everyone, and quite another to whine about not being ABLE to defend your own words against FACTS and instead want to BAN someone who doesn’t violate the rules…

Or you could simply BAN someone who you couldn’t show violated any of the forum rules… not any less corrupt than NOT applying the rules to the protected few, right?..

OF course, all visitors to the site, new and old, would see that for what it is…

The interesting thing is that when the protected few “ran to the teacher” as you put it and whined that I shouldn’t be allowed to post my views and that you should BAN me, you didn’t look at the rules and say - “sorry, he’s not in violation of any of the rules”, and it’s RANDOM RAMBLINGS, where REICLUB put a forum for people to discuss “Items NOT SPECIFIC to real estate investing” deal with it yourself, you instead VALIDATED the invalid…

Or perhaps tell THEM… These are our rules and this what RANDOM RAMBLINGS is for, and if THEY don’t like it, they can go someplace else… or choose one the NINE other forums which DO specifically address their interests… or perhaps, exercise some maturity and either not read it OR post to it, but don’t WHINE if you do…
