In Furnishedowners defense, if you re-read that post, I believe she was giving Reagan credit for the fall of the Iron Curtain.

In America, teaching communist concepts is a BAD THING… it goes AGAINST the founding of the country… The thing that sickens me is the lack of historical context our fellow citizens have, and what our kids are being taught… people in general are not taught, why socialism and communism are BAD…

I know i’m going to take some flak for this statement, but Reagan was not a good president. He had some great conservative rhetoric, and great acting skills to back that up with, but look at the facts. He surrounded himself with members of the CFR. James Baker, Donald Reagan, Alexander Haig, George Shultz, John Whitehead, Caspar Weinberger, I could go on and on(don’t forget he appointed Greenspan a life long CFRer). If you don’t understand how horrible the CFR is, do some research. But don’t feel bad, no MSM outlet can or ever has been able to report anything much about the CFR.

look at his annual deficits… 1984- 185.3 billion, 85- 212.3 billion, 86-220billion…This guy was a conservative??? He chalked up more government debt than all presidents behind him.

When communist Poland defaulted on it’s interest payments to American banks in 1982, Reagan didn’t pressure Warsaw - instead he bailed out the banks by having the US taxpayers pick up the tab…sound familiar???

U made good points.As to my understanding the economy and banking were a mess from carter.I do seem to favor reaganomics better that obamanomics since they laid the foundation for 20+yrs of a growing economy.It just seems to me that alot of what this administration is doing will only burdon this country for the next 20+yrs.I just can’t understand why you would do the total opposite of what works and has a record of working then call that “An old broken system”.

I’ve read alot of pros/cons on reagan so my mind’s still open.But I do however fully support his vision of big govt is the problem,not anarchy,just not socialism/communism.

Thanks, we don’t need another Reagan, or Obama or anyone like any president we have had in modern times. We need REAL change, and that will require a REAL person, unprepped and totally independent of the current establishment. This isn’t going to be easy (and hasn’t been done in modern times)

HR1207 will be coming to the floor soon. The real success of this bill won’t necessarily be passing it, but waking up the millions of clueless americans to the harm the federal reserve has done to our country. Something that is really starting to scare me though, is the growth of the MSM covering this bill more and more each day, and not only covering it, but SUPPORTING IT!!

That scares me. “The Establishment” that pulls the strings in Washington also tightly control this media. Why are they allowing this attention now?? Maybe auditing the fed and shutting it down would work out nicely, creating a world central bank out of the IMF??? A Wild hunch but something is brewing…and i’m skeptical.

I’m fully with you on it’s deeper than it looks.I just wanna throw up when I heard obama today try to distance himself from the same old,same old in washington.The sooner people can see this is alot bigger than him, the better off we’ll all be.I swear it’s just like a low budget movie that everyone is watching and never asking any questions.

A couple of things to keep in mind… while Reagan ran deficits, he also built up the military in the process, which helped lead to the fall of the Soviet Union, ending the Cold War… In addition, to GET the spending on the military to protect the country, which is ONE of the REASONS government exists, he had to deal with the Dem’s, who controlled the purse-strings with their majority… He cut taxes ACROSS the board, just like JFK, with the SAME result… INCREASED revenue to the government who then SPENT MORE THAN THEY TOOK IN…

JFK & Reagan were BOTH supply-siders and BOTH wanted LESS government…

I pasted all those names added CFR in and hit Google. I got Council on Foreign Relations. I searched this council and it is a legitimate organization. Some of the comments complain about them being some power elite. I don’t know why I have a problem with it.

CFR = Council on Foreign relations…Isn’t a little strange to you, that you have never heard of this organziation when its members (which are published every year in it’s foreign affairs publication) include almost every powerful figures, from business to finance to politics to science to education, in this country…isn’t that a little strange? Ohh I forgot to mention, media owners as well. Maybe that has something to do with it??

This group along with the builderbergers and trilateral commission pull the string of the puppets in Washington, not just now, but for the last 50 years. Especially on foreign policy and economics. Want the most accurate view of the future of politics?Read foreign affair’s articles. Suddenly all of the bad economics and policies from our politicians make sense, in terms of what their real agendas are.

I’m not going to try and convince anyone here, just dig deeper, there is plenty of great info online. I would start with the John Birch Society. These guys are always on top of the real agendas in Washington.

Saturday, July 5th, I was invited to a VIP cocktail party/dinner at our nicest hotel with the mayor and other influential guests and speakers who attended our local July 4 summer festival. I was invited because I had created a display at the Convention Center at my cost and also had comped a free house to a major exhibitor. It was my first VIP event and I was excited. Nice cocktails and appetizers, too.

The speaker at this dinner in front of our town notables spoke about a subject I had never heard named before: DISCLOSURE.

This speaker felt that Disclosure would come possibly by Spring, 2009, and most likely by Pres. Obama.

What the heck is disclosure, you say?!

Disclosure is the admission by our government that extra-terrestrial craft do exist and that the government is aware and that it is being researched.

Disclosure is the admittance that there was a recovery by the United States government in July, 1947 of a flying saucer and its crew in Roswell, New Mexico.

Disclosure is the speaker telling us Roswellians that cars and RV’s will be lined up for hundreds of miles trying to get into our fair city.

I will have more to tell you later. Look at the elephant.

ok after that post i’m a little confused, maybe it’s the beer in me.

I do remember the first few posts by furnished owner on here not that long ago. I was almost sure she was more or less a troll looking to write a book on funished apartments…I remember mike being pretty interested on how she got higher rents from furnishing apartments, to me it didn’t sound plausible, at least not in my area, I think mike concurred on that. I got the feeling she was a guru wanna be, writing a book by a dreamer for a dreamer…

I dunno she stuck around, so maybe she is legit…I don’t know or care.

Sorry, guys. I have been working an awful lot and have not kept up with the news at all. So I missed whatever controversy you are discussing over a resignation. I don’t even know who it is. Or why he is on your political unfavorites list. You gotta pick on someone else!

I am packing for a 2-week trip to the Midwest for a family reunion.
I used to be from California, but I haven’t lived there in a long while.

This has been a stressful week. Had a call from a hysterical tenant, “The police just shot my dog!” Finally I got a name and address and flew over there. There were a ton of police, detectives and officers walking around, picking up bullets and talking on phones.

It turns out that one of the traveling nurses didn’t show up for work for two weeks, and her supervisor called the police for a welfare check.

The police entered the WRONG UNIT, without knocking, while my poor tenant is sitting there in his PJ’s watching TV. His big labrador dog jumps up and an officer shot the dog. Fortunately only in the leg, so the tenant’s girlfriend rushes the dog to the vet. Internal Affairs shows up on the property.

Then I give the cops the key to the nurse unit, and she is not dead, only dead drunk. After they all leave, I convince her to go to ER and drive her there, and wait there with her so she won’t be alone. So this nurse sort of becomes my ward for the week, until we can get her medically cleared (blood alcohol 4x legal limit) and discharged from the mental health unit. I buy her groceries and talk to her family back in Georgia. I pick up her cat. I search her unit for her timecard so she can get paid and get back home. We find all the local AA meetings and now I can discourse on that, too.

A dead baby is found near one of our other rentals and again there is a lot of police as it is a suspicious death in a probable drug house, that was in a nice neighborhood.

So I am happy to be gone for 2 weeks and leave all the drama and stress behind.
