Hi,
Does anyone recommand a good course to purchase for wholesaling for a beginner in the buisness. Thanks.
Eric Medemars The Wholesaling Machine, Barry Grimes Bird-dogging 101, Thomas J. Lucier Pre-Foreclosures Investment Strategies & Stephani Davis Flip This REO to name a few. And continuously reading this forum and others.
Has anyone bought Steve Cook, Wholesaling for Quick Cash? It’s $297. Is it good? I am thinking of buying it.
Steve cook’s stuff is very good.
Steve’s course is one of the best wholesaling courses out there, imo. It’s all content and no fluff.
I have it, and give it two thumbs up.
Steph :cool
Steve Cook cooks good. His book is one of the best. It’s easy to understand and insightful to grasp every levels of REI. And it’s never bad to buy other material as well. There’s always something in everything.
The first course I ever studied was by Vena Jones Cox. She has at least 2 wholesaling courses out there, as well as some other great training material. I really appreciated how she broke down the whole process step by step, and you can get it for under 1K.
If you want to get paid for learning how to Wholesale, do what Robert Kiyosaki recommends and get a job with a Wholesaling company, like HomeVestors… I did that once when I didn’t have any money for marketing MY business.
PS: I’m not a fan of HomeVestors, but them and companies like them are a good place to start if you have zero cash for education, marketing, etc.
I would Google “Ron Legrand”
He has a pretty decent website and has decent courses to check out. Good Luck.
I personally have read only Eric Medemars. I would give it 9.7 out of 10. Worth more than the 97 dollars he charges. Just my opinion
I’ve got to agree with you 100% Eric’s course is good stuff.
It was the first course I bought way back in the day and since then I’ve done some pretty decent numbers. So I can tell you it works.
When I decided on it, I had asked my blog reader what they recommended and his was the one.
What I really liked is he didn’t have anything to sell me afterward so I knew that it wouldn’t be one of those guru scams where they “give you just enough info, to realize that you need to buy more info”…Still to this day, he’s just got his $97 course.
Can somebody tell me the name of the course by Eric and where to purchase it?
Thx :smile
I learned from Ron Legrand, Lou Brown and Kris Kirshner. All were good starting points, the rest comes from experience
I woujld tell you but I would have to kill you…lol
You can click on the link in my signature and it will take you there…
Or if you google “Wholesaling real estate” right now I’m #1, #5, #6 out of the 54,000,000 entries
I’m going to keep working at it until I can get a 10/10…It doesn’t cost me a penny more to give killer information than it does to give bad information…
So I’ll keep adding new ideas to my course as I come across them…That’s the Truly Awesome part of buying electronic courses vs traditional “Home study”…
I can update all of my info in under 5 minutes if I stumble across some new killer strategies…I’ve been continuing to add to my material for 3 years and believe me I run into alot of new stuff when I’m actually out doing real estate (My real job)
Where as my much of my competitions Material is the EXACT SAME as it was prior to the housing crash…Which as you know, changed the way wholesaling needs to be done DRASTICALLY.

This years projections for net profit looks to be $80,000-$100,000, which isn’t a huge number but we started with nothing less than a year ago.
My goal for 2009 is $250,000+, and the five year plan is to add 8 more products to our product line and sales to exceed $1,000,000

LOL that’s hilarious…You found profiles that even I forgot I had. I’m still trying to figure out who this “GURU” is your talking about…
If you see him, tell him I said Hi, because It couldn’t be me…I’m just a dude who know’s quite a bit about real estate and I really dig helping people…Hence the 800 posts…
With over 150 deals totaling $14,000,000+ , I’d have to be pretty foolish not to pick up an idea or two that I can help folks out with.
But I’ll give you the synopsis of how I got where I am since your wondering…
I started selling real estate back in 2002 I believe and started buying investment property around 2003 or so…
Fast forward…>>>
At some point I started putting together some wholesale deals…
Then one day I believe in 2007 I bought some wholesaling products that I thought SUCKED…
Up until that point I had always ONLY wanted to just be an investor…
But one day I was driving around in my car and decided to pose a challenge to myself…“Self, let’s see if you can make an investing product BETTER than the two you just bought TODAY”…
At the time I couldn’t website or speak my way out of a cardboard box…So I called a recordable 1800 number from my cell phone and pulled my car off the road and just started talking to myself in an interview type way…Saying things like “Most people ask” then giving a question that I thought most people would ask…
This went on for about 30 minutes when a very suspicious looking low rider pulled up behind me…Oh, I failed to mention that i was in my Convertible vette on a road where they found alot of people who “Went to swim with the fishes”…But hey, I thought it would be perfect cause it was quiet…Right by a river of course…Kind of serene, the perfect setting for my either dying or creating a product…
Well the dudes pulled up beside me and I froze, I was a bit pissed off that they were there because I couldn’t pause the recording, but I was also a bit scared because swimming with fishes didn’t sound like fun…So I said “what’s up” and they were like “Great car man, then wanted to chat…Which I did for like a 2 minutes”…
Unfortunately, I didn’t have a clue how to edit anything. So I left the 2 minute conversation right in with the my 45 minute mp3. No one ever said a word…I warned them in my extremely poorly written sales copy that there was a “Special bonus”.
I went home and downloaded the call which by the way was only 45 minutes but I didn’t know how to shrink the file so it ended up being like 400 MB or something crazy like that…
People who bought it loved it…
Since then I’ve grown my product line substantially…BUT I still make a VAST MAJORITY of my money in real estate…
Honestly if I could, I would give up wholesaling and real estate completely and just teach…Because I fricken love it…But it would be nearly impossible to replace my real estate income selling products…
At no point have I ever arrived at “Guru” dom…I still answer all my emails personally, still take calls from students if they need help…
Heck earlier this week some dude who bought my stuff called me when his first closing was falling to pieces and I helped him put it all back together…
Here’s the thing, I am an extensive learner…I read 2 books a week (NO FICTION), I study real estate, I work in real estate full time…
Getting paid for Teaching other people how to make money is the only way someone like myself could ever have the hours and hours of helping other folks out make any sense…
There’s my “True REI Story”…Join us next week when we uncover the hidden truth behind “Carlton Sheets”…LOL
Let me know if you run into any more profiles I have floating around…But don’t tell my wife about my “Russian Mail Order Bride” profile (she might get out the super glue)
I’m not sure what telling us you were driving a corvette has to do with the issue at hand. Maybe you should have just told us what year you wrote the Linkedin profile.
Hi Bird-dogging 101 by Barry Grime & T. Lucier Pre-Foreclosures Investment Strategies. There are lots of other books as well. Read the maximum and question the maximum.
Dude you got problems Eric is the fricken man…I don’t pay him $10k a year to be my mentor because of his good looks, I’ll tell you that much…
He talks the talk and walks the walk…
What the hell is your problem anyway. Eric has proven time and time again that he’s the real deal. He’s given out advice on here and other forums for free. Advice that he could have charged for but didn’t.
Yeah sure he has a course but so what. I have not heard 1 bad thing about that course at all on these boards in fact people when asked what is the best wholesale course out there 99% of the responses put Eric’s course on top.
So take something for your PMS and stop picking on Eric.
