I didn’t think that anyone could hate and despise a political figure MORE than I despised Reagan and Bush and their non-policies.
I was wrong. Some of you guys are really good haters, and the “Billary” and “Barack Hussein” posts are an example of that.
Because I live in a small, conservative, Baptist, Republican, and Southern town people presume that I am a conservative, Southern Baptist Republican. And being a business owner of course automatically makes you a Republican.
In fact, I just received a “Business Owners’ Invitation to the Bush White House” followed up a phone call. (Wonder what the fee would have been? $100,000?).
There is a Democratic underground here, and we find each other by veiled comments, eye-rolling, and subtle verbal cues. Then we can have a real conversation! On one happy day, I discovered the UPS store owner, my buddy, hated those other two guys too.
Our disparate views hopefully enlighten each other a bit and make us think. But Democrat=Liberal=Communist makes no more sense than Republican=War-Monger=Money-Grubbing Landlord.

Did you ever work for them? Some have good reasons to dislike them. They (“Billary”) are slimy, no good, lying sleazebags.

Pretty much…I signed a non-disclosure agreement but it was about classified materials, not about personal experience. Now, the Secret Service is a different story with different rules!

4 years from now we’ll have a similar topic, with similar views, and similar reactions. Then 4 years after that and so on and so on. Gets old pretty fast since no one is ever satisfied with how things are going(whether their guy/gal gets voted in or not). They still won’t be satisfied the next 4, 8, 12 years either.
If politicians actually got great things done and the vast majority of the populace were happy then I can understand the passion for these topics, but that is not the case. Oh well, different strokes for different folks.
