cell phones, PDA, Blackberry??

I support a bunch of Treo 750’s with GPS built in, some of the users have installed Google Maps (free) and it integrates with their GPS and shows them where they are and gives them maps.

gilbequick, you could always use that phone for self defensive istead of a gun. lol maybe even scare the hell of the renter who doesn’t want to pay up

They have bluetooth gps units if your pda/pocketpc support it, vs paying monthly fees for the verizon or other add ons.

Once you go Treo you wont go back. Treo 750 is the best phone I have had so far.

I’ve been using a Blackberry 7290 since May 07. Service is with AT&T and includes a $30/month unlimited Personal data plan. Everytime I start thinking I could just go back to a regular cell phone something happens that reminds me why I have it. I don’t use the internet much on it, but it is great for catching important e-mails while on the go, which equates to time savings.

I’m an IT consultant and have supported, Treo’s, Blackberrys, Q’s and Blackjacks. Personally, I prefer the keyboard layout on a Blackberry. Any of them are nice to have if you don’t mind paying a little extra each month for a data plan.

PC

I have a T-Mobile Dash and it works pretty well for internet. It has Windows Mobile. I can monitor my site while out. In addition to the mobile Internet Explorer, I use the Google mail and maps client as well as the Yahoo! Go client.

The down side is that I need to cycle the power on it every few days it seems. Not much unlike a Windows PC. :biggrin

I have a question. I have verizon and its time for a new phone and I was wondering should I stick with just the plan phone or should I get a treo or blackberry. The reason I was thinking a treo is I like outlook and I hate going to my laptop to get new emails. Thanks for your help

I had a Treo from work. The best thing about it was it had a pretty decent Solitaire game. I hated the thing.

I’ve been using the CrackBerry for about 4 years now. There is nothing on the market that is quite as dependable as the CrackBerry. I will admit, however, being the total Apple enthusiast that I am, that once my contract with T-Mobile expires in Spet 08, I will be the first one in line to get an iPhone. They are the coolest gadgets on the planet made by the coolest gadget heads in the world.

My advice: Get an iPhone today. You can thank me later. Peace.
