I need some advice from Agent investors out there. I am in the process of getting my Real Estate Salesperson license and I also want to be an investor. What should I put for my title on a business card?
Name Real Estate Agent/Investor ?? Is this okay?
And working for a broker, is that allowed to have “Investor” in your title?
I think your real estate sales person's business card can only contain information including your name, agency name, address, phone number, fax number and email address! You can not have any other information on your agency business card!
Now for your investing business card you can include information including your name, the title real estate investor, address if you want one, your phone number, fax number if you want it, email address if you want it, and could include “I am a licensed real estate agent” maybe on the bottom front of that card!
Disclosure laws require you upon meeting and having your first communication to advise any party to a real estate investment transaction whether listed or private seller / buyer that you are “a licensed real estate agent” and acting as my own agent or buying this with no commission / agency involvement!
Yep, I’d have 2 cards. By the way as an investor, no one cares about your title. You don’t even need to have your name on it honestly. The card should focus on how you can help them solve their problems and clear directions on their next step (one phone number and a website address).
