“im laughin strait to the bank with this, hahaha”

“If you tell the truth at 10AM you don’t have to remember what you said at 3PM”

Dick,

Nice post I like both of those, so I yield my quote of the day to yours :biggrin

( I Like them both better than the one I was about to post) :beer

I’m paraphrasing here:

"Don't take vacations" -Donald Trump

-Mike

"They lie to survive" -HMJ, (successful Section 8 Landlord)

Rich,

This quote is attributed to the Baron Rothschild. He had two sayings about making money:

  • Buy too soon; sell too soon, and
  • Buy when blood is running in the streets

Baron Rothschild made the family fortune by buying up property when the 30 Years War was about to roll into town, when the Protestants and the Catholics were slaughtering each other across France a couple hundred years ago. With a rampaging army just over the hill, desperate sellers would part with their land at bargain prices. Once the war had passed, the land value would rebound and the Baron sold at huge profits.

you get out exactly what you put in, no more, no less…

Each success only buys an admission ticket to a more difficult problem.

Everything is exactly where it should be in this moment.

A dream is just a dream. A goal is a plan of action with a deadline on it!

Get the Contract Signed… Always, even if youre not sure its a deal… You can always cancel it…

Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.

Mark Twain

“Ideas without action are worthless.”

Harvey Mackay

If you want to fly like an eagle dont hang around with pidgeons…

Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful…

If you want something done right do it yourself…

“Take care of your pennies, the dollars take care of themselves.”

“Want to know how to double your money in a day, fold it in half and stick it back into your pocket.”

In his book “The Magic of Thinking Big” David J. Schwartz talks about the attitude of Mr. Skid Row, Mr. Mediocre and Mr. Success. On every score they were the same with on exception, their response to defeat and it goes like this:

  1. When Mr. Skid Row was knocked down he failed to get up again.

  2. Mr. mediocre got up to his knees, but crawled away and ran in the opposite direction so he’d be sure never to take a beating again.

  3. But Mr. Success reacted differently when he got knocked down. He bounced back up, learned a lesson, forgot the beating, and moved upward.

My quote of the day is “The Art of Living is Winning the Game”…….Lisette Muntslag

Christmas is the season when you buy this year’s gifts with next year’s money.
Wallace Hobbs

I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys.

~Charles Dickens
