My question is why is it that some investors wouldn’t buy a deal if it listed from a wholesaler. I am in the great city of Chicago and there are deals every where here. I know that the investors can just look them up on the mls, but there’s no way to pursue ever deal that’s out here. If a wholesaler find a great deal that other didn’t catch or pursue why wouldn’t an investor buy it if it makes sense?

It all boils down to greed. The more hands a property goes through the more money is taken out. Most of the people you’re talking about don’t realize that many times its better to take less now if there is a chance of making a lot more later. You never know who is involved in a deal and what help that person might be to you down the road.
