I’m also really curious about why someone would choose to passively invest rather than take full control over the invetments?? If you have chosen passive investing, why did you choose it and what has it helped you achieve??

Did you mean passive “investing” or passive “income”? I would consider passive investing to be something like a mutual fund where you have no control over any of the day to day operations of the company. On the other hand, passive income would be something that you do not have to actually do work to get the money to come in. RE would be considered passive income because the money will be paid to you whether you are gone for 3 weeks out of the month or working hard at trying to improve the cash flow to have more income next month.
