I have noticed in at least one seminar and here in the rules that there is no networking. Would you please explain why? Thank you.

The reason for this is the same as the “no contact” me posts. There are several ways to network for free on the site (Networking Ads, Classified Ads, Forum Signature, etc.), but the forums are purely to request and share information.
Keeping the forums clean and informational makes them an invaluable tool and raises the trust level for the information provided. In theory, posters are simply giving back and contributing their time without an obvious monetary benefit.
As soon as a post that violates the rules is left up for hours or even a day, it is soon followed by a slew of other posts that break the rules. The forums become useless billboards at that point. Hope that makes sense.
