Hello,
Obviously new here, also new to wholesale business.
I am trying to find out what special things I need to know about the wholesale business in SC.
For instance, I know now that each party MUST be represented with a Lawyer at closing (state law).
Also, mandatory “Clean Termite Inspection” is required.
If anyone knows of special requirements in the state of SC. Would love to hear.
Thanks
I would look up a local RE club and go and talk to someone that is familiar with wholesaling in your state. I would also read the articles here on this site regarding wholesaling for generalities.
SCWHOLESALE,
SC state law does not require each party to a real estate transaction to be represented by an attorney. SC state law only requires that an attorney prepare the deed before it can be recorded.
As a practical matter, only one party to the transaction (usually the buyer) will have attorney representation for deed preparation and to write the buyer’s title insurance policy.
