Yes, you can wholesale anything. But, wholesaling short sales is not easy at all. On the average, short sales take 4 to 6 months to close. Most end buyers do not want to wait that long. But, if the loan payoff is less than market value, then go for it. Remember, if it is not a short sale, work with the owner not the lender. Lenders will not accept assignment contracts.
