I am trying to do a short sale on a home in NY. The home owner had his loan with American Home Mortgage. The company is out of business and the owner does not have an up to date statement, nor a payoff letter.
Is there a place on the web to get this info? If not, is there some other way to get the information?
Someone please help so I can submit this short sale package
