How soon after the house is bought do I get a title policy.
You would usually buy the policy when you purchase the property and use the title company to close the sale. You can buy a policy any time after you own a property. The title company will want to do a search to check or liens, loans etc before they issue the policy just as with a policy when you buy a property.
