What to put on a business card?

Is it appropriate to put Real Estate Investor/Landlord as a title on a business card? I want to have one card with my contact info that I can hand out to tenants, applicants AND REI contacts.

I think one fo my former landlords had ‘Property Owner’. That was wierd too.

It just seems wierd having ‘landlord’ on the card but that’s what I am. What does the rest of the world do?

Thanks,

Property Manager

A lot of times you do not want your tenants to know you are the owner. That way it makes it easier to say “I cannot because the owner will not let me.”

You can also say that you buy property, but this one you are just a manager.

I have many card for many situations. For example .I have one for the REI Club that says my name, under my name it says realestate investor/cash buyer and my phone #. I have one for the banks .it reads my name ,and below my name it says residential income property specialist , my address’s (e-mail) and phone contacts.I have one for my tenants,it reads my name and below my name it says manufactuing specialist of concrete footwear/contract to kill specialist with no # or address ;D

That’s priceless.

:anon:

Now thats funny

You can also use a double sided card, or fold out card. Also why would a tenant knowing that you are a landlord? Tenants are like children, if you give them an inch then they want a foot. Tenants should be the last of your problems.

I’ve said it on here in the past. Sometimes the easiest answer is the best. A double sided card! I can put the contact information on one side and what I actually do on the other. How simple is that. Keeps the card clean.

Thank you Charlotte and everyone else who responded.

When I went to do my card online it gave me an option to use the back side. I thought “What would I put on the back?” DUH!

Now I can go kick myself for not thinking of it myself.
Thanks
