I recently got a list of all the homes that were served a foreclosure notice in an area I am targeting. I am not keen on cold calling people to see if we can make a short sale and I have found someone who is willing to do that for me. (I got the information on the foreclosures from an agent who expects me in return to allow him to process the short sale for us.)
What is a fair price to pay the person who makes the calls for me per unit that reaches a successful closing? Also any tips or ideas on how to make this work nicely would be appreciated.
I suggest you do it yourself, at least at first, I used to hate calling potential sellers.
I was actually scared.
Especially when they get pissed off from my low offers, but now I laugh and joke around with the sellers and try not to go for the throat, so fast.
Humor and being friendly seems to go a long ways.
Go to youtube and watch Than Merrills videos on negotiations.

RE Joe, when you said “I recently got a list of all the homes that were served a foreclosure notice”.
How did you get that list? I would love any direction you could provide!
Or for others…How do I find a source/site to see pre-forclosure or pending foreclosure sales? I am looking in Florida, but would love a comprehensive site that includes all states. Also, I would like to see this on a monthly basis, and not pay an arm and a leg for it. Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance for any info you can shoot my way!
