What is the best method to attract out of state investors

I am in Kansas City, MO and would really like to know how to go about attracting out of state investors. There are some really awesome deals right now in our area for rehabbing of homes. Any clue on websites where I can go and search for possible investors?

on the left side of this rei club page look for site navigation drop down to investor resources and click on to real estate clubs. select the state you want and you will get local rei club contact information. call them and ask for a referral for someone who may be interested. you may also want to joint venture wiith a wholesaler in that area.

Why do they have to be out of state? I would put an add on craigs list to partner 50/50 with cash investor. If you are looking to wholesale find your local landlords assoc and when you get one under contract call all of them for a first cone first serve basis.

depending on what type of property you are selling, just give it some thought and figure out what state and what type of buyer fromthat state would be most interested.

Then, just place an ad in the local and city papers in that state. It is not really exspensive, it’s the same as taking out an ad in your local area.

Your ad shoud be real simple the size of a “thumbprint AD”…put in bed/bathrooms, something like “foreclsoure Special”…or “vacation Special”…and your phone number…Your AD should really stick out…think about it…how many times do you read whatever paper you read and see listings for properties that are 1000 miles away…probably hardly or or never right.

So if you did see one 2000 miles away, I bet it would spark your interest.

Hope you get some sold using this method…Good Luck
