What does the term Ping back refers to?
A Pingback is a process that web authors use that requests a notification when somebody links to one of their documents.
For example, you write an interesting article on your Web log. I read the article and comment about it, linking back to your original post. Using pingback, my software can automatically notify you that your post has been linked to, and your software can then include this information on your site.
