What happens prior to an auction? Is this where short sales takes place or does something else happen prior to the actual auction? Sorry if this sounds like a very basic question. What kind of options do investors have prior to auction to make a bid on a property before auction? I called the trustee on the home I’m looking at and she wouldn’t give me the auction date information.
