Hey all,
I know this is a very broad question but I wanted to see what other investors are paying for CPA costs. This was my first time using a CPA and I just think the price tag was way to high for what I did and for what they did. Is it hard to price out CPA’s fees? Looking for opinions out there.

You might get better answers if you post what you did, what the CPA did, and what they charged you. Good luck.
not hard to find out at all. just ask.
if they won’t tell you, there’s a reason.
I visit with the CPA regualy, and although it doesnt cost thousands, they have certainly saved me of thousands time and time again. Typical cost is $500 for year end K1, and some type of retainer fee, for the time they spend on your account during the year. I was quoted a $2000 retainer fee once, although I dont have a fee at my current CPAs firm. If you are wondering about normal bookkeeping I was once quoted $125 low end - $250 high end. Hope thats helpful
