Hi everybody,
I am thinking about buying a HomeVestors franchise. Is anybody familiar with this real estate investment franchise? Does anybody have any feedback, good or bad? They require that I spend a minimum of $5,000 per month advertising. Would I be better off spending this money advertising on my own? Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

I seriously looked at the possibility of owning a franchise, but I think in my area, there were quite a few franchises. The bonus to that is grouping your advertising funds together, the bad thing is sharing the incoming calls. I personally see that in this industry you are better off creating a unique business on your own set apart from everyone else. I think it makes networking with other investors easier than giving the impression right off the bat that you are a corporate guy…
