No retail short sales are where a house is negotiated and purchased at 85% or less in value. Usually a property that is in no need of repairs. Unlike a wholesale short sale that is what investors want at 55% or so.
I think thats referred to reselling on the retail market to an end buyer (instead of discounted to an investor). Most of my deals sell on the retail market and I often consider this ‘wholesaling’. (buying cheap and reselling cheap on the retail market / mls)
