websites

Can anyone recommend a good foreclosure website that will e-mail you when there is a new listing?

Nothing personal. Quite honestly if you are that lazy then I would not waste the money and find something else to do.

By the time most websites get the information it is old news. If you want the good stuff, you need to get it yourself.

Wow. Nothing personal but i do work a full time job and help take care of the kids and take care of my own home and oh, did I mention I WORK!

It was not my intent to be mean, just honest. Your life is much like mine…no time to do much during normal hours.

How were you planning on going to the courthouse, communicating with lenders, dealing with ex-homeowners, etc.

Here is a recent discussion regarding websites:

use the search function to find more. Good Luck!

Well that really was not my question sir but thanks for the input. If I can subbsribe to something or do something that we make the best use of my time that thats what I want to do. If other more expericned investors think all the forecloser sites are a waste of time and money that I’ll concider that.

If you are looking for foreclosures (REO) properties. I think one of your better options is to hook up with a realtor in your area that works with REO’s. Most have a regular mailing list that they can add you to so you can see the new listings.

Mdhaas is right. If you are planning on being successful, and I hope you will be, you will need to do a lot of hand shaking and street beating. At least initially. Finding a realtor is not as easy as it sounds. Once you do find one that is willing to help, you willl need to stay in front of them.

I asked your question at the the local REI Club meeting last night and the consensus was that the internet sites are a waste of time and money. In most cases, by the time information reaches the website it has been chewed up and spit back out.

As was mentioned previously, you must get out and make some contacts. If you want the really good stuff you will need to find some time, out of your hectic schedule, to get out and go fishing yourself.
