While this website isn’t mine, I really like the unique perspective they take:
One thing to keep in mind though is while I think this site is very easy on the eyes, it would never be something I would use. The reasoning is because flash introductions (and flash animated websites in general) like in that website don’t really add any value to websites. They also divert the user’s attention, which will lower your probability of accomplishing whatever it is you want to accomplish with your website. There is a big difference between professional looking websites versus professional value-adding websites.
