I’m absolutely FOR using AR/VR technology in real estate! This can really save time of seller and buyer and create needed expression. There are so many innovative AR VR services that provide software solutions for the industry, and it’s really strange that this technology is not used all the time nowadays.
I agree! AR and VR are amazing technologies that I can’t believe aren’t widespread in the world of real estate. VR allows potential buyers to view houses without having to make the tediously long drives to search for possible homes. It’s also amazing how realtors use the technology to virtually stage the house and show different interior designs to their clients. I expect to see VR/AR technology in real estate as common-practice in the near future.
It’s a great idea, I assume someone is pushing this forward? I had a similar idea just as the first oculus headset was coming out as I had been schlepping around NYC trying to find a “cheap” apartment that wasn’t disgusting. Imagine being able to sit in a chair and view each one instead of hopping trains, going up and down stairs, etc…
VR also saves time. Instead of investing a lot of time in home make-over and arranging the interiors, you can use VR to stage the property for an appealing look.
How does the VR work lets say when you are selling a house after it is remodeled?
