Vinyl on stairs?

Has anyone ever installed vinyl on stairs before?

Is it easy?

What are some of the problems you encountered (e.g. the vinyl not staying down due to the steps having 90 degree angles)?

And what kind of glue did you use?

Hi,

You can do it but you will need to use a edge guard to protect the front edge of every stair and will need to lay down a anti-slip material over the vinyl at each stair tread as an abrasive material.

If you do not protect the front of the stair tread the vinyl will fail very quickly on that leading edge and you have to have some kind of abrasive strip to prevent slipping on wet stairs.

You have to install each stair riser and run seperately in order to ensure a tight fit!
