I plan on working the Lis Pendens list of pre-foreclosures by direct mail, phone conversations and knocking on doors. I want to wholesale these proerties initially and move to bigger startegies later. I am in Kentucky and know that in some states it is against the law to contact people in foreclosure. Does anyone know if that is the case in Kentucky?
From what I understand it is not illegal to call people on a no-call list because as a wholesaler you aren’t soliciting or selling anything… You are simply offering to buy their house. This may be wrong, but this is how it was explained to me. I’m out of TX.
