I am new investor and I am very interested in Wholesaling. I’m interested in purchasing 1 of Vena’s courses but I’m not sure which one would be the best for a newbie. The “Goddess Guide” or “Realesate 101”? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also does anyone have the link to the Wholesaling powerpoint slide for her previous teleseminar? I’m just trying to get an idea of what the homes should like when buying "junker properties. Thanks a lot
I can’t speak for anyone else, but myself personally I think Vena’s wholesaling course is excellent and worth the investment. She explains things in laymens terms and her father was an investor for 30+ years so she grew up in the business and really knows her stuff.
I can’t speak from personal expierence about her RE 101 course but I’ve heard good things and if its anything as thorough as her wholesaling course you won’t regret it.
Steve Cook also has a very fine wholesaling course as well.
I’ve been working with Vena’s course for a couple months now. She is very detailed and it has seemed to work exactly as she explained. Plus she’s got a great money back guarantee. Listen to her shows on the web, read her newsletter. She provided a solid foundation for building a career in real estate…in my opinion. She and her partner seem to be real people who enjoy helping.
I started looking at all Vena’s stuff…reading all the stuff here on this site…listening to ALL the free downloads. Just gathering lots of info. I have my first property under contract and I’m now looking to find a buyer. It’s a farmhouse on 3acres of land…ARV $262K plus, I’m selling the contract for $125K. Needs lots of work, but huge upside…so if someone is in NY, let me know.
But really I’m just learning as I go, with lots of education. Vena’s course was the key…and she does have that guarantee. Once I listened to her audio here on REI Club, I knew she could teach me a strategy to allow me to get started. From there I hope to advance to other techniques.
Hope that helps! Keep me posted.
That sounds like a gem. Propose that property to your local REI group, advertise for rehabbers in the classifieds and bulletin boards and you shouldn’t have that around very long. Sounds like a huge upside. Congrats
Thanks for the kind words. My REIA meeting is tomorrow night and I’ve had many replies to my ad on Craigslist. This deal has a large spread, and needs a lot of work. Even if it cost 80k to rehab, there’s still about 60k profit…and that’s without sub-dividing, which is also possible with 3 acres.
Just need someone with experience who wants to make it beautiful!
