Using Realty in biz name

Hi All,

I’m wholesaling properties. Is there any reason I can’t use “Realty” in my business name?

Does it bring a negative connotation to a motivated seller?

Using realty in your business name only suggests that you are a licensed professional and puts you into the category of Realtors, in my opinion. Using properties would be a better term like “RealNew Properties, LLC.” would be a great name instead of “RealNew Realty, LLC.” Unless you are a realtor and you want to start a brokerage.

I don’t know if there are any legal issues but I don’t think so.
