Howdy All:

Just a little tip to help determine if a city is a good place to invest. I was thinking about buying an office building in Odessa and I wanted to find out about the economy there. I got a quote for a Uhaul truck from Odessa to Austin for $800 and then I got a quote from Austin to Odessa for $300. That tells me that there are more folks leaving Odessa than moving there because of the premium. Just thought that me be of interest to at least one other person. LOL

Hello Ted, WOW! That was some interesting research. Do you have any other “tricks” to find out about a cities economy for investment?

I usually just ask my dad. He manages millions of dollars of property all over the state. He actually told me this trick too.
