This thread has been played out on several forums and the headline is not accurate. A properly structured L/O does not present problems.

I’d also suggest anyone that has concerns regarding this actually contact an attorney to discuss it rather than spending too much time worrying.

I agree with Tim Randle, a well structured Lease Purchase agreement can do wonders and I know because I use those agreements right here in Texas.
