So I found my packet from when I bought my house, which has a 2 year old copy of a TREC in it. 8 pages long. Just curious, are all pages important? Is most of it skippable for wholesaling? Most of it made sense to me, maybe the type of thing to sit down with a RE lawyer and go over?
You may want to get a new copy. They have changed in two years. You can use any contract you wish as long as a Broker or Realtor are not involved. I have seen them written on brown paper bags stating I agree to buy your house for $11,000 located at 3501 Lott Ave in Austin, Texas.
Title companies, lenders etc are familiar with the 8 page contract. Best to use it and kill a few trees.
