Hi all I am looking at a property that is in pre-foreclosure the problem with this one is the house is a 30 year old single wide trailer. I am thinking about offering what the land is worth for the place. The inside has been redone and is in good shape. There was a appraisal done last October for 68K, the loan is for 55k land value as of October was 20K. This trailer is in a good area for retired folks close to good shopping and community services. Good overall area and conditions for quiet living, I think it would be a good rental but have never done anything with trailers. Questions are has any one use trailers as rentals bad or good results? And what do you think about starting the offer for the short sale at about 15k figuring on not going much above the price of the appraisal price of the land at most?
