Tracking down owners of vacant properties

I have been doing a lot of driving for dollars and find a lot of vacant and boarded up properties. I see that the assessors website still has tax mailing address as the same address so I can’t send a letter. Is there a way around this?

Thank you in advance

Google search skip trace companies. It’s gonna cost you money but the harder they are to find the less competition you’ll have. Takes time and investment for sure but these are pure gold when you end up finding them.

Like a few people mentioned before “skip tracing” is the next step and Google is going to be your best friend.

Want to type the property owners name followed by various keywords.

Example:

“Teddy Smith 910-”
“Teddy Smith @gmail.com
“Teddy Smith 123 Main Street 910- @yahoo.com
“Teddy Smith brother 910-”
"Teddy Smith father 910-

Basically you play detective and try to “connect the dots” so to speak.

Put a “For Rent” sign in the yard with your phone number, and I’m betting you’ll hear from the owner in ‘no time’ at all.

Driving for dollars…that expensive and time consuming.
We aggregate data…much easier and cheaper to just run some parameters (vacants),
(property value), find out if was vacant just now or for 3,6,9,12 months, grab the
real property data and be done with it.
OR
if no owner info available, run another specific search on the vacant property…and if lucky find where the
owner is now living (if they end up subscribing to a magazine we can get their new address) or
we take a look through our daily phone land line connect / disconnect feed and maybe get his new phone number.
Remember time is money, and driving also has costs. Grab data…then market to them.
