I am trying to find out what the typical scenario is for an investor that is looking to do title searches on properties that are soon to be sold at county auction. If I have 5 or 6 properties that I am interested in that are going to auction in the next couple of week, should I spend the money to do title searches on all of the properties? Seems like this would be a lot of money spent that could amount to nothing. Is this the typical route other investors use when bidding on foreclosed properties through the courthouse?
