Is there anyone out there who can refer me to a Title company, Banks, and a Lawyer that does Double CLosings, I’m in the Bronx, New York…
I don’t know any personally, but I would look in the phone book, that’s where Im starting to look.(Im in the Bx also). :cool
I found mine by asking for referrals from the active wholesalers and investors in my city.
The majority of the title companies where I’m at do not even know what a double close is, so going through the phone book would have resulted in a lot of dead ends/rejection.
Try and find out who the players are in your neck of the woods (rei meetings are a good start), and ask them who they use.
You might also put up an ad on Craigslist… “Looking for an investor friendly title company…”
Something like that. Can’t hurt to try- it’s free.
Good luck,
Steph
