Incorrect, in some places (CT is one I know of) it is 10 days and may be longer in some areas. You’ll be better off to not try and quote laws with any certainty as they change frequently and they vary from state to state or town to town.

Ps- Curious how many rentals you own. Always wonder how many the self-proclaimed experts have.
