I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. I have a full time job, but I have been wanting to get my real estate license for years now. Is it possible to work real estate part time maybe helping sellers as opposed to buyers? I also think it would be beneficial to get my license so that I can gain access to the various tools available in marketing properties and searching for properties investment-wise.
I know there seem to be people on here that snub real estate agents, but does anyone think it could be a positive thing to be licensed when you are getting into the investment side of real estate?
For those of you who are agents, what types of out-of-pocket fees do you encounter being an RE agent and what are the average costs? I’m in Indiana so I don’t know if costs vary greatly based on your location (Cali vs. Indy).
