Hey,
According to MSNBC’s website today, Dublin, Ireland, is the best place to invest. A 10’ tool shed, 280 sq. ft., sold for $269,100. It last sold for $777 in the 1970’s. Thought you guys would want to know.
Peace,
Richard
That’s like the story I heard about a guy who paid over $100000 for a single uncovered parking spot in Boston or New York. I can’t remember which. Thats less than 200 square feet of pavement for $100k. Incredible.
I’ve been to Cork, Ireland. The locals were talking about the rapidly appreciating home prices. They’re pretty limited as far as where to build, so the prices can only really go up. Some smart companies were coming to build apartments since there’s a shortage.
I asked one of my friends there what people would like to see and she said more movie theatres and American-style food places. The food doesn’t have to be heavy and fattening like in the U.S, but the style of the restaurant should be new and different.
INDIA and CHINA.
I have been investing INDIA in pre-construction condos for last 5 years. Appreciation of 12 to 20% depending on the area etc.
I still have 5 high rise condos in GUrgaon, New Delhi where are all the call centers and BPO business is.
I am now trying to invest here in US as do not want to put all eggs in same basket.
Gotta tell you though, you have to be ready for a lot of slow moving work when you invest in India. Best thing to do is ake a pool, set up a company and then a subsidiary in India and do it that way.
I would definitely piggy back somebody like that
