Anyone have any good alternatives to contract for deeds and lease options in TX?
From everything I’ve read they are not impossible, just very silly and impractical (as far as the law is concerned).

I have done owner finance instead of contract for deed or lease option. This guy http://www.lonestarlandlaw.com/ has good reading on the subject.
I’m trying to find out the best way to do owner financing in Texas as well. I have a lot of leads from people trying to rent their homes and are willing to sell. Is a subject to the only way I can get control of the property to then sell with an owner finance situation. If I do a long term lease or lease with option to buy can I then Lease to new tenant buyer on a rent to own or lease option or is that now against the law in Texas. Any help is appreciated!
