Does anybody have any experience treating termites on their own?

In Tx youre supposed to be licensed to have the different chemicals but a friend of mine went online and found some Termidor, which is supposed to be an effective termite killer, for only $75.00. The pest control co. gave me a bid of $650.00.

I think the termites are coming up from the outside of the slab only. In that case all I have to do is dig a little trench and pour the chemical according to the directions.

I was just wondering if any of you treat your own termites or do you have it professionally done?

Any potential buyer is going to want to see a professional treatment.

Ill be holding on to this one.

I know when I refinance I will need an Insp. but hopefully by then I can kill them myself and save 500 bucks.
