Is it necessary to buy a termite treatment (preventative) for this, if there’s no evidence of termites? I know that there’s still some wood in concrete block homes, but the cost of the preventative treatments could be pretty expensive. Is there a workaround?
Modern termite treatment is pouring the chemical (can’t think what it’s called) around the base of the foundation. If you can get your hands on the stuff, it’s easy to do, and it’s very long lasting.
