So I was doing some research and figured I’d share what I learned about Tennessee tax deeds here in case anyone was interested. There’s a 10% fee for the right of redemption, and sales are held at the county level via competitive bidding. County representatives play a large role at annual auctions, and owners have one year to contest or resolve penalties (although they still have to pay the 10% to you as an investor).
