Tax implications

What would be the tax implications for wholesaling properties using assignment contracts or receiving assignment fees. Does anybody know of title companies in Texas that allow assignment contracts? I read somewhere in the Texas real estate laws that a person cannot receive money for being involved in a real estate transaction that uses assignment contracts or receives assignment fees. How do we go around this situation.

There is a TX case called Zarin (Xarin?) that said buying on option and then selling that option is not “brokering”, b/c one is a principal with regard to the option. I imagine that the same would apply to assignment of purchase contract. Taxwise, much has been written here on that topic, I’d run a search and then narrow your question.
