SUB2 in Texas

Hi All,
I have been doing all the reading on lease to own in Texas. So much conflicting information. I have the documents to put the property in trust. I am having a RE attorney look them over early next week. He specializes in creative deals. Anyway, I am so green at the process, I really need advice from those of you that are doing this in Texas. What steps do you go through EVERYTIME. I don’t want to make it more complicated than it is and talk myself out of deal. Any advice or response would be appreciated…from those of you that ARE doing SUB2 lease to owns IN TEXAS.

I just read your post after doing the PM thingy, and just FYI, I don’t use land trusts, I just do a good ol cooperative assignment, which doesn’t involve title transfer till the purchase.
There’s more than 1 way to skin a cat, but I just like to keep things simple.

Yes sir, there is. Like I told you in my reply message, I may have to eat a little gravel while I get up and running…but I have done that in my other business ventures too. Thanks for the reply :smile
