I’m having a problem finding a title company in Cook County (Chicago) that will do a closing with Sub2 financing. I’ve called everyone in the area and even asked them if could refer me.
Not that the deal isn’t good with getting my own financing, but the sellers rate is 5 3/8.

I close through a lawyer not a title company. I do the title search through an online company, and then I use a lawyer to do my closing docs.
I have used by Stewart and Ticor in the past. Also the best is to bring in an attorney that has a solid relationship with a title company and let them deal with it. Well worth the money for that!
