The key with paid social media advertising is to get your targeting down. With Facebook especially you can target people based on almost anything - age, gender, location, interests etc.

The possibilities are almost endless, but you want to make sure you start out by testing one or two ideas with a small budget. Once you find something that produces results you can increase your budget from there.

Yes! Facebook & Instagram ads are linked together and have given me a great return on my investment! Twitter hasn’t been super useful but I also do minimal advertising on LinkedIn and a LOT of Google Adwords. I would recommend being fully invested with social media marketing if you are thinking of trying it out. You can’t just buy some Google Adword space and expect to see a return. You have to continually rework your campaigns, test lots of different images and make sure they are all performing well. Good luck!
