What do you do about snow removal.
Walkways?
Parking spots just big enough for 1 car?
Do you pay someone to shovel, plow or do you make it the tenants resposibilty to take care of their own?
We pay for snowplowing for our doubles. The tenants are responsible for shoveling sidewalks, etc. I leave a bag of ice melt with each tenant and ask them to use accordingly. Some do, some don’t, so I constantly check walkways, stairways, etc for ice and make sure they’re salted.
Tenant in our single families are responsible for their own snow removal. I will also supply them with ice melt and double check that it’s done properly.
The last thing I want is someone getting injured by slipping on the ice.
