SKIP TRACING

Hi Guys,
After looking on and off for several years for a condo in a specific building where my sister lives (as investment property for now)…I finally got smart and started looking thru foreclosure listings and actually FOUND one! I will send a letter or note card to this address, but have a feeling it may be vacant. However, when I look into details, it says the bank is Grantor, and lists a company as Grantee, ON the Lis Pendens document. I am located in Chicago, I am confused as to who is the real owner, and who I should send letter to? The Lis Pendens also lists the HO as the defendant, which is where I was planning to start. If that doesn’t work I will find a good skip trace site to find phone number, anyone know of one? Sorry for the multiple questions, but I really would like to buy this for keeps!
Thanks in advance for any help on this!!! :cool

It sounds like you want this place pretty bad, your sister in the same building? I would send post card, letter (w/pen inside so they have to open) if they dont live there, then maybe they will be forwarded to new address. Chances are they have been contacted a lot already by investors who watch the lists… I would then send sister to knock, see if they do live there or renters, see if she can be "knocking for another reason, maybe get phone # and then accidentally gave it to you?) :bobble

At the same time just go ahead and order skip trace… you have been waiting a long time for this building…
