should the trust or trustee's name on the insurance?

we have our primary resident house under our name and a rental house under trust and we are the trustees.
when we buy home owner insurance, who should be the named insured?

Your primary residence obviously in your name!

Your rental property in the name of the trust and you could name your self as additional insured’s!

For the property in the trust, the named insured will be the same as the titled owner. If Frank Allen is the trustee for “My Rental Property Trust”, then the named insured for the hazard insurance policy will be something like “Frank Allen, Trustee, My Rental Property Trust”
